STEEL
At the moment I am using O-1, 1084, 52100 and D-2 carbon steels. I like the toughness, ease of sharpening,
and edge holding ability they provide. I also use ATS-34, 154CM and S30V for those interested in stainless.The price
will be higher with these and delivery times are some what longer with these steels as I have to send them out for
heat treatment.
SCALES
I am open to using any handle material you would like but prefer not to use Dymondwood.
I generaly have walnut, mahogany, purpleheart, rock maple, an assorted burl or two, G10 and micarta on hand. If you have a
special request please inquire.
FITTINGS
I will use most any material for the fittings on your knife you want
to include brass, stainless, nickle silver, carbon steel, micarta and stabilized wood. I will use titanium limitedly.
YOUR DESIGN
I enjoy new ideas and will work with you on a design of your making. However, due to problems encountered
in the past, I require a 50% nonrefundable deposit up front.
